How Do You Get Started?

Compass Pointe Homes offers homebuyers many home designs with custom structural options already created by our in-house architect. This saves our clients time and money in customization before the building process begins. However, if a homebuyer has a unique request, Compass Pointe Homes' team of experts has the experience to make their vision, a reality.

1. Choose a Home Design that fits your lifestyle.

2. Set appointment with a Compass Pointe Home Representative

A Compass Pointe Homes BOL Consultant will meet with you to discuss plan choice and any additional revisions to finalize for preliminary pricing. Once initial contract is signed, a home site visit will be scheduled for review of the lot preparation. Items for consideration; building the land up with dirt to bring it out of a flood plain, rebuilding curbs or culverts, tree removal, underground electrical run to your home, hooking up and rerunning lines for City sewer and water, additional foundation requirements that might be needed once your soil analysis comes back. There are other possible elements, depending on the floor plan, your land, and other factors. A Compass Pointe Homes representative will explain all preparation costs that apply to your specific project.

3. Financing

A Compass Pointe Homes Preferred Lender will provide you with the best options available for your construction loan if it is not a cash contract. The Compass Pointe Homes BOL Consultant will coordinate this process for you.

4. Design Center Scheduled Appointment to Custom Personalize Your New Home

The Compass Pointe Homes Design Center Coordinator will contact you to set up two-four hour appointments so that you will have all the time you need to make selections (i.e. flooring, lighting, countertops, cabinet upgrades and more) that match your personal style. They will help guide you to make choices that you will enjoy for years to come.

5. The Building Process

Compass Pointe Homes is a full-service New Home Building Company that will handle your project turnkey. That means lot preparation, floor plans, customization, city code inspections, foundation and landscape design will all be included at delivery. It will all start with a contract period that will include internal meetings to get to the exact bankable cost of your home. This contract period can take anywhere between 45-90 days. Allow another 3-4 weeks to close on your construction loan. Construction of the actual structure can depend on variables such as weather, labor, materials, inspections, size of the home, customization done to the home and more. Typically, it takes between 4-7 months from start to finish. Every Compass Pointe Homebuyer has access through a provided login at the time of contract to go to the Compass Pointe website and watch the progress of their home. The Compass Pointe Homes BOL Consultant will setup a timeline that applies to your specific project.

6. Turn the Key to Your New Home

Welcome to the Compass Pointe Homes Homeowner Family. You will receive the keys to your home once the final Team Walk is complete, you have signed off on the completed home and your paperwork is complete at the title company. Compass Pointe Homes will support you for needs you may have in the first year you own your home. All warranty can be easily accessed through the Compass Pointe Homes website.
